Classmates,
I have the best staff ever, everyone stepped up and
called classmates. We now have enough to have a class
reunion. We will give everyone till September 15th
to get your money in.

Previous Letters:
Dear
Classmates,
The
40th class reunion, October 4th and 5th, is just around
the corner. The cater wants a head count by September
5th, so I need you to respond by September 1st. It is
time to get your money in.
The
cater promises no one will leave hungry. She has great
food lined up plus the best desserts you will ever eat.
There will be a complete menu listed on the website.
I would like to see as many classmates there as possible.
I understand gas is high but you will never know when
you will see someone again. Paula Freels Hawkins wrote,
"Thanks again to all of you who work so hard to
make this all possible! I found out on Monday after
our 35th reunion that I had cancer. On October 30, 2008,
I will be a 5-year survivor! God has richly blessed
me. Look forward to seeing everyone again. If I can
do anything "long distance" just let me know."
Can you deny Paula her wish?

Dear
Classmates,
Can
you believe it's been 40 years since we walked the long
hall of Treadwell High School? I would like to think
I am getting better not older (but who am I kidding).
Forty years has not been good to some of us. We survived
the Vietnam War with only one known loss, but car wrecks,
heart attacks, cancer and other diseases got a few.
Let's face it - we are not those young seniors that
walked those halls in 1968.
We
have planned the 40th reunion. This will be a two day
event on October 4th and 5th (click
the Next Reunion link for more details). We
also have a long list of classmates that we cannot find
(click here for the
Missing Eagles List). If you see anyone's name
and you know where they are, please let me know (click
here to e-mail Jerry). I would like to be able
to find all our classmates.
Before
you say no, please think that this may be the last time
to get to visit with an old classmate. One day, every
five years of good food, good fun, and good fellowship
is good for everyone. What are you afraid of - that
you might enjoy yourself? We all have aches and pains
and we all have problems - can't we just put them on
hold for one weekend?

have already had nine meetings so far but we need more input
from our classmates!! If you have any ideas or suggestions PLEASE
contact any of the following classmates. If you can come to
the meetings that would be great! If not, please send your comments
to a classmate so they can convey it to us.
